Melinda Johnson

Hi, I’m Melinda! I am a Tennessee native and have been coming to the Smoky Mountains my whole life! After a career in nursing and raising six children, I started managing vacation rentals in 2016 and I love it! We do all we can to help our guests have all the fun that this magical part of the country has to offer!

I love hiking and soaking up nature in the Smokies, from Mt. LeConte to Cades Cove. I love exploring all the family friendly activities in the area as well as trying all the delicious food!

This is a Mama owned business and we are so glad to provide stellar hospitality to our guests!

Audrey Carlson

Hi, I'm Audrey! I am Melinda’s daughter and 3rd oldest of her 6 children. 

My main jobs are guest reservationist, social media marketing and the property manager for Porch Swing Memories. 

I joined the team in Spring of 2018 just before my 2nd daughter was born.

I grew up visiting the Smokies, from hiking & playing in the creek to walking the Gatlinburg strip with my family. 

I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee with my husband Tim, and our three daughters Rosey, River and Scotlyn.

We love going to the mountains together as a family to hike, eat food, and enjoy the many attractions.
